Kedar Sawant has been working as a senior portfolio manager in the domain of energy transition and water sector for last ten years of experience at AFD (French Development Agency) in New Delhi. He is looking after the on-ground implementation of innovative RE solutions, energy efficiency measures, and digital tools with a keen interest in climate adaptation sector.
In 2023, he co-authored an international publication on ‘Accelerating the Indo-Pacific Energy Transition’ that elaborates about requisite policy framework, financing avenues and capacity alignment opportunities through existing & emerging DFIs in the Indo-Pacific region.
Kedar pursued his master's degree at the esteemed French university Ecole des Mines, and he received a full-fledged scholarship from the French government. Further, he attended the London School of Economics at UK. He is vocal for achieving SDGs, accelerating fight against climate change, and mobilizing technical assistance in India.
