Sachin Gulati is a Senior Economist in the Global Climate Policy team at Cambridge Econometrics, Cambridge office. With over three years of experience in economic modelling and macroeconomic forecasting, Sachin has developed a strong expertise in energy transition modelling, particularly in areas related to public policy and sustainable investment. He enjoys developing innovative modelling tools to support informed decision-making, including development of the modular FRAMES tool for single-country analysis with a focus on regions with limited data.

Furthermore, Sachin works with global macroeconomic models for global policy analysis, in addition to sector-specific assessments related to the power, transport and steel sectors. He holds an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science; and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
