Nitin Bajpai is part of the Energy Vertical at NITI Aayog, where he contributes to shaping India’s Net-Zero 2070 transition through energy systems modeling and sectoral decarbonization strategies. His work centers on data-driven evaluations of energy systems, focusing on economic viability, financial implications, and environmental impact. With cross-sectoral experience spanning renewable energy, power, transport, industry, and biotechnology, he has led multiple Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) in sectors such as fashion, mobility, and biofuels—including the development of the Fashion Footprint Calculator. He has collaborated extensively with leading institutions and holds an M.Tech in Energy Engineering from the Central University of Jharkhand, along with a Data Science certification from XLRI
