Ashok Kumar Nema is presently a DAE Raja Ramanna Fellow and a Retd. Outstanding Scientist & Associate Director (Corporate Planning & Corporate Communications), NPCIL. He was also Appellate Authority under RTI Act for NPCIL.

 A Mechanical Engineer and Masters in Business Administration, he belongs to 26th Batch of BARC Training School. He has also attended Summer Schools on Nuclear Law and Energy from Homi Bhabha National Institute. He has been a part of IAEA course on ‘Comparative Assessment of Nuclear Power and other Energy Sources’ held at KAERI, South Korea in July 1998.
